About Ramsay Rehabilitation

Ramsay Rehabilitation is a Veterinary physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy Centre.

Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to providing high-quality care to help improve the health and mobility of animals.  We specialize in animal physiotherapy, which involves the use of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other techniques to address musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Our hydrotherapy services include underwater treadmill and swimming sessions, which can be particularly beneficial for animals recovering from surgeries or suffering from arthritis.

At Ramsay Rehabilitation, we work on a referral-only basis from veterinarians to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

What is
Animal Rehab?

Animal Rehabilitation is very important not only in surgery cases, but is also used in the training of sports and working dogs. Dogs with specific problems like obesity, osteoarthritis, as well as old age can benefit from Rehabilitation.

Patients that undergo surgery can benefit specifically from rehabilitation such as fractures, rupture of the cruciate ligaments, as well as neurological conditions that have changes to cartilage, bone, muscle tendons and ligaments.

Did you know? Dogs may lose one third of their muscle mass in the hind limb following surgery for a cranial cruciate ligament rupture and it can take over a year to regain the lost muscle tissue.
